I know I just posted some Christmas stuff the other day......but for THIS year, these two records are perhaps even more apropos: Rodd's haunting "Put A Little Love" which you may remember from ASPMA, and "Sweet Edna" which is the flip side of Norm's "Twinkle Toes" (see previous blogpost). "Poor Edna" would be more like it!
But if you REALLY want to get into the Christmas spirit....I present to you the Song Poem Yule Log! I used only the most seasonal-sounding records and I think they really marry to the visuals perfectly!
Here are the songs that are used for the yule log:
jingle mint twist-santa claus goes modern (2nd version)-my christmas dream (halmark)-let's share a prayer-put a little love-i liked the old year-christmas treat, peppermint-how do they spend xmas in heaven-the peppermint stick man - ole year christmas - let us be gay- christmastime philosphy-the santa claus polka-santa is a superman (gus colleti)-blinky, the blue nosed snowdeer (betty bond)-maury the xmas mouse-lullaby (jo ann auborn) - o stately pine (2nd version) - christmas in ireland (lynne richards)-rocking disco santa claus-i'm gonna run away with santa claus-santa fix my toys for xmas-jolly jolly santa claus - thinking about christmas (noval) - smile it's christmas-the new year song-season's greetings
