Wishing you "peace" the "day after tomorrow" with Preview 1104....probably the only date I can think of on which to break this record out! If you need a preview of this Preview: "Peace" is a solemn affair that seems to fit this moment in time. The flip side, "Day After Tomorrow" finds Judy Layne channeling someone like Inez Foxx or Shirley Owens on a song that is certainly no worse than scores of b-sides of the period. (That's not necessarily an endorsement!) The song-poem nature of the session is revealed mid-way through the track when the bass starts fumbling with the changes....the kind of bass playing you'd usually expect to hear on a Globe record instead of a Preview! Anyways, nothing life changing....just a little bon-bon for ya.. Happy New Year.....although I think "Good Luck" is more like it! GOOD LUCK this year!
